We know
that many of our customers appreciate the convenience, flexibility, and
peace of mind provided by having our overdraft programs in place to
discretely bridge a temporary gap. After August 15th,
that will change due to new federal laws…. unless you contact us!
You
will have the opportunity to tell us “YES” you want your debit card
transactions covered by your overdraft privilege, on the
Opt-In form below.
We recently
enhanced our Discretionary Overdraft Privilege service
view disclosure],
to include coverage of overdrafts on everyday debit card and ATM
transactions, and call this discretionary overdraft service “Oops”
(Optional Overdraft Privilege service). To continue receiving the
benefit of “Oops”, new federal regulation requires us to obtain your
consent by opting into the terms and conditions for that service.
If you
do not opt-in, your ATM withdrawals and everyday debit card purchases will
be declined when you do not have enough money in your account at the time of
the transaction.
Your checks and other non-debit card transactions will continue to be
covered by your discretionary overdraft privilege.
There
is no fee to opt into “Oops”.
You will incur our standard overdraft fee for each item we pay into
overdraft for you. We also offer automatic transfers for overdraft
protection from another SNBT account, that you may be interested in learning
more about. Please ask us!

What You Need
to Know about Overdrafts and Overdraft Fees
An

your account (please review attached SNBT Discretionary Overdraft Privilege
disclosure).
2.We also offer an overdraft protection plan by automatic
transfers from another SNBT account, which may be less expensive than our
standard overdraft practices. To learn more, ask us about these plans.
This
notice explains our standard overdraft practices.
